Board of Directors

David Reiffel, President
David is a writer, composer and sound designer who has been involved in music and theater since childhood. He currently serves as Program Director for the New Opera and Musical Theatre Initiative (NOMTI) in Boston.

David's work, which gravitates toward musical theater, has received many performances and frequent honors. Recent highlights include The Royal Institute for the Support and Healing of the Arts and Potter’s Field Bed and Breakfast, written with Silvia Graziano, which won the 2011 edition of Company One’s Fringe Wars. In May and June 2012, Cupcake, which he wrote with Bradely Seeman and Michael Wartofsky, had a successful run at Boston’s Club Cafe. He has recently finished Glory, his latest musical, and is presently pounding the pavement looking for a stage to do it on.

​Stephan Hiroshi 
Gilchrist, Vice President and Treasurer

Stephan Gilchrist is the Director of the Social Innovation and Sustainability Leadership Graduate program at Edgewood College in Madison WI.  The program serves students with a wide variety of degrees and professional backgrounds, allowing them to create social innovation projects as a central part of the curriculum.

Gilchrist received his doctorate in educational leadership and master’s degree in conflict resolution from Portland State University. He taught courses at Portland State University in the areas of community engagement, multicultural education and interethnic conflict resolution, and researched community-based interethnic dialogue models. Gilchrist also has an M.S. in environmental education and B.A. in international business and Japanese. He spent several years living and working in Japan.

Gilchrist is deeply committed to the practice of tai chi to promote mental and physical health for all people, and has taught tai chi classes for several years.

​Lisa Rosenthal, Secretary
Lisa serves as Deputy Director of Human & Civil Rights Organizations of America, a sister federation of LGBT Community Charities. In this role, Lisa coordinates the review of national and local CFC applications and advises member charities on how they may comply with campaign requirements. She also contributes to research on the CFC and other policy issues in the philanthropic sector.

Before joining WGA, Lisa was a research associate for the Economic Development Assistance Consortium in Boston where she helped research and edit grants for non-profit organizations involved in low-income neighborhood revitalization projects. She graduated from Harvard Divinity School in May 2011 with a Master of Theological Studies, focusing on religion, ethics and politics. She graduated from College of the Atlantic in 2009 with a B.A. in Human Ecology.

Lisa is delighted to support the work of LGBT Community Charities and help to advance justice and civil rights for all.

​Judi Holley, Director

Judi is a retired federal employee who has been involved in the Combined Federal Campaign since the 1980s. In addition to her extensive work with CFC federations, she has been a CFC donor and a local CFC volunteer. 

Judi's experience leading CFC federations began in the 1990s, when she was a board member and president of Do Unto Others (DUO) – a federation representing international emergency relief, development and humanitarian charities. During her tenure as DUO's president, she participated in the National CFC Committee as the designated representative of her federation. She currently serves on the boards of several CFC federations.

Judi is a long-time participant in non-profit organizations in her home state of Washington. These activities include the Governor's Advisory Council for Vocational Rehabilitation; the Criminal Justice Training Commission; South Puget Sound Cultural Diversity Coalition; several local charities focusing on immigrant education, employment and housing; and the Pierce County Sheriffs Advisory Board. ​​
